Update on my Hen

As the 8th week approaches she is getting a good amount of red in her wattles, but not so much her comb. Hoping is a lil' girl

Likely pullet based on pic. They get a little pink around this age, but it’s really pale in your pic. A male would likely be more obvious at this point.

Is she an Australorp?

Those are good sized wattles.. but they're very pale pink and not red at all for the stated age.

See how red the wattles are in the following (google) image of a young male chick for comparison..

I also think pullet at this point.. noting hen and rooster aren't truly accurate terms until reaching one year old. It's pullet and cockerel before that and mostly important when discussing behavior or health, just for informational purposes.
