Update on my rooster

I wanted to give an update on my rooster. Yesterday there was a fox and I found my rooster hiding under the deck. Once I got him out from under the deck his head was down and stayed that way all day yesterday. Today I gave him a thorough look at him and found no puncture wounds, no pulled feather on him. I gave him sugar water. He did drink it, and it seemed to perk him up a little bit. He walked around and he all the sudden he stopped walking and put his head back down. Is there anything else i could do?

His neck is probably sore. Give him time, and a quiet warm place to recover.

In general I would expect it to take 2 weeks or so for him to begin to feel better after that type of thing.
