Update on my sick chick

Unfortunatly she was dead when i got up this morning, but i did notice last night that when she was trying to poop that she had a quill coming out, i t was very long and didnt have any feathers on, im wondering if she has pecked at one of the polish chicks (because their feathers are quite long) and maybe swolled one of their featers and this has done some kind of damage going through her, the poop was normal colour but very runny........any thoughts??

my kids are gutted and we held like a little funeral for her in the garden

thanks, i hope it was just that and not any disease, my other chicks all seem compleatly normal but now im paranoid, keep popping out every 5 mins to check them
