After a long 3 weeks of waiting for Pidgy to become full grown and Trying to tame her(Which isn't doing well), I decided that since Pidgy has her full mature feathers in she can be reunited with Pudgy my elder quail with no chasing or pecking and so far it's been successful (About one day) Pidgy seems to enjoy Pudgy's company now since she's the same size as her xD First time I put Pudgy in Pidgy's cage they stared at eachother and then Pudgy saw the sand bathe bowl and commence operation bathing and Pidgy took that chance to get close to her and pecked her little proturding feather and ran and then came back out to try and sit in with Pudgy in the sand bowl which was funny because it only fits one xD Here's a picture of them this morning. Today is my cage cleaning/pet care day which means Quail will get a water bath(Well Pudgy will she loves the shallow water in my tub and bathes in it like sand) and rabbit will get caged cleaned, brushed, and nails trimmed, dogs bathed and nails cut, and my doves will also get a water bath :)

Pudgy is in the front, Pidgy is in the back. I'm also training Pidgy the same way I trained Pudgy to use the water bottle by letting the water bottle drip into their old water dish.

Watch them closely pretty much forever. These birds are not really suited to be kept in pairs, they are covey birds. The males hormones are telling him to breed about a dozen times a day which is perfect when you have 3 or more hens but it's not great for that one girl who is going to be getting covered at least 3 times more than she should be. Sometimes pairs do fine but I've noticed there always seems to be a point that one snaps and they have to be separated.

Their both girls I do know that when you switch them to a smaller cage they get cranky and take it out on one another but Pudgy my elder female she loves company and Pidgy is also calming down I can fool with her cage and she doesnt try to hit her head she just runs to Pudgy and snuggles up on her xD

Oh well if they're both girls you'll be fine. Being the covey birds that they are, they enjoy company. I'm glad you've been able to add them together, it can be tough sometimes.
