I just got back from the vet so here's an update/kind of rant...
First off, when I get there the vet took the top off the cage I bought Ruby in and was really gentle with picking her up, but she didn't hold down Ruby's wings. So, Ruby, of course, started flapping them and pine bedding was flying everywhere. The vet said "Okay, calm down. Do you want me to hold you upside down"? I didn't say anything but thought, you better NOT hold her upside down! Then she preceeded to show me the hypnotize trick with running your finger in front of them (which I've seen done before). Ruby did lay very still. She also told me how you can do it by tucking the chickens head under it's wing, which she tried. Ruby didn't like that at all and I felt like telling her to just do her job. That my Ruby is my pet, not a circus act!!!!
Anyway, she asked if I had her on a worming program. Well, taking the advice from other BYCers, if I don't see signs of worms, I don't worm them so I told her no. I did take a poo sample, which she didn't check but gave Ruby an injection of Ivomec. That was fine. I've only heard good things about Ivomec. She listened to Ruby's lungs and said she had fluid on them and gave me Baytril. I have to give her 1/2 tablet by mouth, twice a day until finished. I mentioned Tylan, but she basically said nothing about it.

Oh yeah!!! I forgot to add: Total Vet Bill...$99.00
