These are my chicks! Last time I mentioned them, it was hatching day and I had two in the brooder and two in the incubator. Well, my mom convinced me about a day later (day 22- 23 of incubation) that I should open up the eggs incase there were any birds stuck(old offbrand incubator, didn’t turn well after a few hatches). Well, there were two that had unfortunately died in their shell, and there were two that were really weak, but after a few days with scrambled egg and electrolytes, they ended up being just fine. Anyway, here’s some pictures I took today, and bonus points if you can guess the name theme 😁😁😁😁

This is Kid, and she was the last one to hatch.

Prankster, the second hatched and strongest of the brood. Surprisingly flighty and nervous around people though.

And finally, Americana. Actually a bluebell-Plymouth barred, crossed to a RIR-Maran, hence the feather legs. But the chicken came from a blue egg, and the name fits the theme. Going by feathers alone, this one’s probably a guy.
