Update on the problem ganders at the lake--mean brown Chinese is gone!

I think I know what happened to the mean brown Chinese gander. I thought I last heard him across the lake, but didn't check it out at that time because I thought it was weird that he would be there all alone. He's never been there before, either. I checked again a couple of days later, glanced around the area, but did not see or hear him, so I thought that maybe that wasn't him I heard. Today, though, I walked through the area, thoroughly, to see if I could find any sign of him. I found a big pile of down and a few gray-brown feathers in a pile and in a second location. I think they might be his. Why he was over there by himself is a big mystery if it was him. He may have been sick or may have been looking for a mate. I don't know. Very puzzling.
