Earlier today I posted a picture of a glob of yoke and stuff that I found in a nesting box. It was pretty ugly and I didn't know what it was. The helpful readers of the message board thought it might be a lost ovary - and maybe that's what it was.
Tonight I sliced the thing open and discovered tissue inside and who knows what else. I wish I had a ton of money because I'd take it in to a lab and have it analyzed. However, without the money, I'll take more guesses on what it is.
By the way, I have no males in my chicken area except for two 6 week old bantam cocks.....hardly ready to crow yet.
