Update on "What's up with these feathers"

We got him August 2 from TSC bantams bin. Four toes, slate legs, now know it's a boy or by the comb. Was told to repost in a few weeks. His comb is straight and black, wattles are red, but the feathers are still strange. Could someone please tell me what he is? I have never seen a bird like this.

We were hoping it was a self blue OEGB hen for our boy, Blueberry, but now it's an interesting mystery.

Now that you mention that breed it does look a lot like one, perhaps.

Lavender is self blue.

We thought OE, but the color of comb and strange feathers have us confused.

I believe she’s talking about how tattered they are. But that is normal in the Lavender gene I think.

Oh. Yeah the lavender gene does cause tattered feathers like that pretty occasionally.
