Update-Orphaned baby bunnies

I can't really help you if you plan on hand raising them. I have four ~8 day old wild kits in the nest with a single 12 day old kit from one of my does. The doe is caring for all of them. Fostering is the best way to care for them, but I wish you luck!

Update.

They all have their eyes open now and eating good. Here is a couple pics I took of them last night.

In the box I put them in at feeding time so I can tell which ones I've fed and which ones need feeding.

One got out of the nest box today.

So cute!!! Our dog chased one that looked about the age of your last picture, and retrieved it to us. We put it back where we found it and it was gone a few hours later-I hope its mom came for it. Congratulations on getting them to eat! That is a true accomplishment with wild baby bunnies.

I moved them into the aquarium that I use for a brooder so, that I could watch them closer to see how they are eating on their own. They are chowing down.

If our weather would straighten out they can go out into the big world and live whatever life is in store for them.

They have been so sweet and easy to work with. I don't know if it's because their eyes were closed at first or if I just got an easy batch but, I'm so glad they have made it. Weather doesn't sound to bad later this week so, maybe we can let them go then. I don't want to push things by keeping them to long.
