UPDATE: Parakeet eggs didn't make it. =(

) have mistakingly tried to breed birds like Parakeets, Cockatiels, etc. and they thought it would be easy, and they wanted to do it for fun. Well yea it is fun, but they need to be very responsible.
I think you would be a good Parakeet owner(of 2 or more...?) if your parents let you, in my opinion. Can you answer all these questions?


Do you have money to pay for expenses like the bird itself, food, items...etc.?
Do you like birds and feel that you know all the basics about the type of bird you're getting?
Do you have an avian vet near you?
Do you know what not to feed/what to feed your bird(s)? If not, will you be committed enough to research this?
Will you spend time with your bird, and not get bored of him/her once the "newness" goes away?
Will you be there for your bird to spend time with him/her, clean the cage, feed/water him/her, etc.?
Do you have the room in your house for a bird?
Will you try your best to protect your bird from dangers, such as poisoning, other pets in the house(dogs, cats, etc.), and other hazards?


If you answered "YES" or mostly "YES", then you could be a good owner for a Parakeet!

That would be cool if your parents let you. Parakeets are awesome!

Carla has been sitting on the eggs for about......3 1/2 weeks(around 20 days). The eggs take 18-28+ days.

We plan on keeping most of them, or we may bring some to our mom's house.

If the eggs hatch this weekend, I will post pics of them when I come back.
