These are Brahmas, I was speaking towards pea combs as a whole. Perhaps hatchery EEs may be more consistent, but I can say for a fact that it did not work with my Brahmas at all. It just makes me very wary to try and sex with that methodThese are home made EEs maybe? I've found the ones coming out of the hatcheries to be fairly standard since the first ones I got in 1988. EEs that are more of a cross have a lot more variation and are much harder to tell.

I just know that it isn't necessarily accurate for the larger scope of "pea combed birds."
