I'm so proud of myself, I stopped at a feedstore Monday and almost bought some rhode island reds... Just to keep the box warm until mine arrive... The only thing that stopped me was trying to figure out a way to explain to my husband why I needed more! He's having a hard time understanding why I needed 20 hens and two roos in the first place!

I found out they are being shipped today, so I won't get them until tomorrow or friday.

They are here!!!

I was so scared because of all the horror stories I was hearing about the post office that I called them yesterday to let them know the chicks were coming. The lady just said, "K call ya when they get here" and hung up which made me a little more scared... Got the call this morning at 8am and went to pick them up and the lady (same I talked to yesterday) was the biggest sweetheart! "She said your your chickies are here!" as soon as I walked in and told me that they weren't making a sound when they got there so she brought them in and put the box by the heater and boy did they perk up!

They are all healthy perky and happy, My kids and I are in love and I'll be posting pics soon!!!
