I candled and left the 'bator off... It's been off since Monday morning, when I tossed the bad eggs from the 'bator and hatcher.

Smack me or hug me

or pour me a beer. Or all of the above.

The eggs are at day 10 and day 4 respectively. Might as well toss 'em now, right?

At least we weren't at day 18.

I dunno... maybe no good... but stranger things have happened! Give em a chance... you can always throw them out later

Thanks - I'll leave 'em in & see what happens.

I just made myself a huge sign that I will religiously use -

front is a chick picture

back says INCUBATOR IS OFF in big black letters.

GAH, FEH, and ZORG!!!!! I know my mind is going to go. Grandpa got mixed up yesterday and got a big bowl of margerine out of the freezer instead of ice cream (and ate it before anyone noticed). I guess it could be a LOT worse!!!!

you can only learn from your mistakes so just think of it as a learning experiance, what type of bator do you have, i have a hovabator 1602n when i candle i leave it on and the bator is till partially covered with the top i never take it all the way off

but the sighn what if u forget to flip the sign then you wouldnt know we all make mistakes it happens to the best of us noone is perfect but i am still

you get something out of those eggs what was the temp inside your bator when u relized it was off?

I didn't even think about it when I read it, why do you turn it off? I have a homemade cabinet bator and don't turn it off.
