My EE's were all laying by 23 weeks. Maybe she is laying in a secret place? If she free ranges you might want to go on an Easter Egg hunt.

Nope, no free ranging- too many hawks around here.

We have two EE's and one of them started laying in mid-December (hatched in mid-May) and the other one (who had the same hatch date) layed her first in January. I don't know how much of this has to do with the season, and how much is just that particular bird's maturation.

Lucy laid her first egg TODAY!! She's 8 months old and I was beginning to really worry about her, but she's a full-fledged team member now! Hooray!!

And here's her first egg! It looked like a painful event b/c there was blood all around it and around her vent.
