Ok,
So I was just visited by a guy selling water softners and the drinking unit (hot/cold dispenser).

www.NaturesoftInternational.net

Ever heard of it?

He's selling this combination and labor and a 60 month supply of cleaning products of nature's soft (laundry soap, bar soap, window cleaner....any thing and everything for cleaning)....for $4000.

I have a well, hard water, nitrates among other things....and lots of gunk per his test in my water....I have a boiler too, so all this gunk is in my pipes and we drink it and cook with it.

My soft water softner is over 20 years old and not working properly.

He would like to have an answer by midnight tonight for me to get this special...and he'd come and put it in tomorrow morning.

What say you?

***Ok, so he was back a few moments ago. He said he would sell me a display model for $2000. I went ahead with it.

Reason: Mine is broke. It will help us health wise and be easier on our pipes saving me monetarily in the long run.

My brother in law paid about that for his system...

I pray to God I have made the right decision. Lord be with me.

Thank you all for your help.

me,
g

No idea, but on things that come with a "limited time offer" I would pass and do the research, even if it means giving up a bit more $$, for the knowledge I know what I am getting and minus the possible headache of a "impulse".

Edit: The time limit reminds me of those "act now" to get a great rate on a time share that you "OWN!"...

Never heard of the company but I say nay.

You can probably do just as good for less from Home Depot, Lowes. Menards, or whatever is near you.

A water softener will not take care of all the problems you might have with your water, like nitrates. Check with your local health department also.

I would call BBB before doing anything, and for me it sounds like a big scam, how he will gurantee, that his company will even stay in business for another month in this economy???

I am very wary of anyone employing a hard sell...

Tell him to take a hike and then compare your options on your own time...

I agree with the others on the post....you can find some cheaper at Menards and Lowes or Home improvement for a whole lot less for the same stuff.

Nitrates in water.....no matter how hard they think their products will work, its very expensive and almost impossible to get rid of it. Trace of it would not hurt livestock.

how anyone can expect you to make a decision that soon on a $4,000 purchase is a SCAM...

it has to be... think.. that is a lot of money to a lot of people.. to pressure someone to buy is wrong.. if the product was that good

#1 you would have heard about it already..

#2 there wouldnt be pressure to buy it..
