I have two acres in a subdivision and I let my chickens free range a little and they typicaly stay in my yard. If I do see them start wondering I will whistle or call for them and they come back. But I also get comments from my neighbors about how much they enjoy watching the chickens when they are out wondering in the yard. I was concerned that someone would complain when I got my chickens since it is against the HOA rules but everyone that has talked to me about them just says how much they like them.
