Good Evening! So I couldn't stand it . . . I felt I had to do something to make sure I had some kind of protection for my girls and wanted to let them out. Soooo I found an old tent thing that I thought we had taken to the dump, threw a tarp over it tied it all down and opened the coop! I still couldn't leave them. Yes, this is just how new to Chicken's I am :) I know what I want I just need to have the funds to make it all happen, and probably some help. Definitely some muscle, and someone taller than me, lol!! When my hubby sees what I've done he's going to say "gee, why don't we throw a washing machine out front too~!! I'll get it all cleaned up and put together, having that "welcoming" look but for now this is it!!

Advice and comments welcome~

Great way to improvise. The chickens will appreciate your resourcefulness.

Your surroundings look similar to ours, where are you located? We HAVE to have a covered run and I also currently have wind blocks on our two long sides. Way to windy and snowy at our house to not have 'em.

Not sure that will hold up to much snow...or wind...but I get it.
