to each their own. that was an action shot and the shutter speed was off, but the blur created an artistic capture.. in my taste. nothing is perfect in a perfect world, but it's the little detail that drawls the line in the sand between perfection and reality. Something unobtainable from the naked eye.

The guys think I should use #1 & #4. Are they correct? They weren't sure about the chick pics below.

It IS so impossible. I stayed up until 5am the other morning trying to get through all the pics to pick these out because I knew I had to combine. That's why I asked the guys to help and now on here. I like the chick pics but I was wondering if the background was too bland? All of these are from my files and they weren't posed, just taken to keep track. Basically just lucky photos that turned out better than the rest...

#1 will do well because broodies and babies always do well (one might think the judges were all female, lol)
#2 has a nice framing but is kinda generic
#3 love the bird but the radiator steals the show
#4 is lovely, but needs cropping lol

D wish you could see the dark chicks face better, and its dark, the lighting not the chick
