I use baskets made from that wire that you embed in concrete (can't remember the term). The deer and rabbits get the ones on the bottom and outside the baskets, but I've managed to get a few of the high ones, and ones in the middle.

I would rather have my love ones eating my tom than these devil inspired creatures crawling up from the homestead of hell

x2! Those nasty tomato worms killed most of our tomato plants before we even noticed them. So we actually took our turkey (Dorthy) To help pick them all off.. She loved them!
