****UPDATED****~ Australorp Roo or Pullet??? ~

Please tell me if you think my Australorp is a pullet or Roo. He/she is 5-6 weeks. I know it's a little early but I have fallen in love with this little one and since I can't keep a Roo I need to know if I need to start preparing myself to let this one go.






Here are some more pictures of her/him. (s)he is now 6-7 weeks and I am very worried now as the waddles are turning bright red. please take a look and tell me if you think it is a pullet or roo...

I know you are worried because the comb is prominent, but nubbins for wattles and comb not pink...I say pullet

I'd keep an eye on it. It doesn't have any tail feathers to speak of. The comb and wattles aren't too big, but I'd continue to keep an eye on this one.

Looks a lot like our (The Black) Pearl. Little Disney name my son gave her- she goes by Pearl. She might have a little bit more tail though than yours so it will be interesting to see what they turn out to be. Hopefully hens!
