UPDATED! Day 7 Photos- The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly (AND Bizarre!)

8 & 15 definitely aren't going anywhere, they've got such pretty veins! I just thought they were a bit 'off' compared to the rest of the eggs. Although it's interesting to me to note that the upside-down V that I saw as unusual on day 7, two more of my eggs have developed it on day 9. Perhaps this one was just ahead of the game!

Thanks for the feedback! I sure hope there's something in that one. It's really like staring at those magic eye pictures, isn't it? I'll think there's something, look again and can't see what I thought I saw.

I've had a few that looked like the bizarre ones that developed but quit...all of them. Mine were shipped so I honestly think its a damaged yolk or something...good enough to sustain for a while but not enough. Does it swirl? Sometimes mine swirl, thus the idea of broken yolk. And when I eggtopsy them and gently crack them the yolk is always scrambled. I don't know how they can live if the yolks broken, but thats what I think. Next time mine look like that I'm not going to turn them...just in case.

Hey there, just wanted to update this thread in case someone else has bizarre eggs.

Oh, if anyone is interested in my egg log, here it is: Hatch #1

It's just a basic note/weight log of this hatch. Perhaps it'll help someone someday.
