I will see how it goes in the morning... Thanks again

Does she have a buddy that she is close to ? Maybe you could keep her and her buddy separated for the night, so she feels more comfortable. I don't see why they wouldn't accept her back. Good luck

If you can't give her a buddy...if they all pick on her...do you have a small stuffed animal? They seem to just love the stuffed animals to cuddle with

If you think she is in pain, you can dissolve one baby aspirin in a cup of water for her. That should help with the pain

....

I am also noticing a lot of pecking going on with all the others...even grabbing each other by the back of the neck and pinching with thier beaks...Help!

I will start by saying that I am NOT a chicken expert, by any means. What I do know is that I had a chicken who was being pecked for some reason. I took him out, sprayed his head with Blu Kote, put him back in and they pecked some more. I took him back out, tossed in some food, put him back in and they leave him alone now. Chickens have some strange memory - they sure know to go in the coop at night, but in the space of a few minutes, they forgot they were interested in the pecked bird. He has now been back with them for three days, and no more pecking. Sure wish I knew why they started in the first place

I will add that they get bored easily. We've been putting ears of corn in to occupy them. We are also thinking of adding another outdoor roost, because the two we have get very crowded in the afternoon.
