UPDATED: Neighbors dog GRRRRRRR!!!!UPDATED W/PICS!

GREAT NEWS!!! I got to talk to the Mom today... She actually came up to the house to let me know that the husky had gotten loose again

I talked to her a while, and my dog sucked up to her

, and we agreed that I would take the Husky once she returned home!! About 10 minutes after the neighbor left, guess who shows up

I went out to get her, but she ran back down to the farm. So tonight I went down, and she gave me the dog, and even said that "Dixie" is REGISTERED, and if the rescue wants her papers, she will get them for me! I got Dixie's vet record, found out she's only a year old, and off we went, just up the road

So, Dixie is now living in our basement and is a very sweet dog, she just needs the appropriate home. We would actually keep her, but our alpha female, Hummer, will not accept any grown female dogs

I can keep hoping, but I really don't think it would work. I'm glad we got Dixie - she is really thin. I honestly can't blame her for finding her own food. Their other dogs are perfectly fine so

So anyway, she's here with good food, water, toys and chewers, and is no longer in danger of getting killed

It's a great day! Here are a couple pics of Dixie!

I wish I was closer, Dixie is gorgeous!!!!! I have always been very fond of that breed as well as hybrid wolves. I used to have a arctic wolf/husky mix, his name was Mita. Mita got out of his leash when a family member at a party took him out for a walk and was hit by a conversion van going 70 mph. That dog was the best protector ever and if you fell he would run circles around you until you got up but they do like to run and are escape artists. I am so glad everything worked out well for you and with no losses

Hi, This is Peg in NY. We have a state law about dogs, they must be confined or on a leash. Call the dog warden, also DEC especially if this dog is running deer. As the owners they are responsible for all of this dog's actions. Also maybe you should remind them that there are some pretty hefty fees charged for letting the dog run loose. I'm right over the border from PA, and I know PA must have some similar laws. Hope this helps!

I havent read the whole post but I suggest you catch her and give her to a rescue then tell the neighbors you shot her and buried her

We honestly would LOVE to keep her, but we don't think it is going to be possible

We have 3 other dogs and a potbellied pig in the house... I don't know that I could ever trust her with my pig, and our top dog is a girl... Need I say more?

She actually listens very well for a husky that has been allowed to do what ever she's wanted for the last year. Plus, she is very good with the other dogs - no aggression at all towards them. We've also been doing all the annoying stuff to her, and she just doesn't care. I have also taken her food away while she was eating without reaction.

KSCT: I took notice to your avatar... Are you interested in her
