Updated pic of the Green cheek babies

They just started to fledge today and they've just started to eat solid food. They'll probably be ready by the end of March or the beginning of April. I just saw the exact same birds in Petsmart. I almost passed out at how much they wanted for them. I'm A LOT more reasonable....believe me. LOL

Thanks for the update. They are too cute. I'm surprised to hear they are quiet. I equated them to sun conures and they can really screech. I decided to hold off till next season to try and breed my keets. I read they need to be a year old first. By then maybe they'll be a little more tame. They still don't like my hand in the cage even when I'm hanging treats.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I love baby parrots!!

Oh they chatter, don't get me wrong but they're not at all loud like Suns. I had Suns for 12 years and they're calls are ear piercing! I truly believe that Sun conures are the most beautiful parrot in the world. I just wish they were a bit quieter! LOL

I was so tempted to get a sunny a few years ago. We used to live close to a bird farm. They had a huge aviary with a section for each type of bird and glass doors to keep it separate from the store part of the farm. There was I guess 20 to 30 sunny's in there at any given time. When they would go off, holy cow! I was comfortable with my first keet at the time so I didn't get a sunny. It's a good thing because the 4 keets I have now are nothing even when they get screechy compared to a sunny going off. My three favorites which I will never have for one reason or another are Sunny's, Eclectus, and Hyacinth's. They require alot more commitment then I could provide. Well the big ones do at least.
