Updated pics of my babies from Bfrancis

Simple answer, "YES".

They are also fun to watch, since they come in so many colors and reproduce so quickly, people also like playing geneticist to see what combos they can make. With eggs, other than just eating them like you would a chicken egg (4 quail eggs = 1 chicken egg), you can also bake with them, pickle them, mini-deviled, ect. Some people even blow the insides out and paint them...(check that on-line auction site.)

On the meat side...they taste really, really good. 8-10 weeks after hatch (depending on the species), butcher to eat. The feed to grain ratio is pretty good.

There should be others that can tell you what they do too.

hope this helps!

When your temps get over 50*F...give a shout.
Bill

It doesn't need to be 50. Mine arrived at 17° From Florida and got a little over 50% hatch

Ted I agree with you, you did get a good hatch...But, for me to send eggs, it needs to be at least 50*. There is enough issue with mailed eggs, as a breeder, I don't want to add temps to the issue. I also don't add artificial lights to my birds..so mine typically don't lay well in the winter.

I'm definitely going to get more eggs from Bill in the spring. I am also going to pick some eggs up from some other breeders on here as well, gotta get that color variety

Now that right there is bein' a responsable breeder showin' real integrity. Plus 1 Bill. Leave the pimpin' to the pimps.
