I just found out today 3 of the 5 Mille Fleur chicks are hens and I get to keep all 3
. I have the 2 oldest Silkies and Mille Fleur out in the coop with the Cochins and Barred Rocks. I also have 2 Black Silkies and 1 White Silkie in the brooder cage with the 6 Japanese Sultan Bantams, and 1 Japanese Sultan Bantam
in the bator waiting to go in with the rest tomorrow.
I have 3 Silkie eggs, 8 RIR eggs, and a dozen Japanese Sultan eggs in the bator waiting to hatch.
When the Silkies are ready to go out they'll be in the coop with the LF.
The Japanese Sultan chicks will go into the new small coop with their parents until they are large enough to go to the large coop. Mom wants to keep all the hens from her Sultan roo and Japanese Bantam hen, but I don't think we'll be able to.
5 chick potpie-they are all in the food dish, goofy birds...
Will update when another egg hatches,
