Personally I would not call that a crele, as technically crele is barring on a wild type/black breasted red/red duckwing/ Light Brown in which the roosters have black breasts.. this guy does not have a black breast.
Don't get me wrong.. he is a beautiful guy, it is not easy to get good barring on gold base feathers. People have tried to create buff or red barred birds and they would be jealous of this bird..
Anyways as to guessing the parents: He has a rose comb, so at least one of his parents had a rose comb. He has barring so at least one parent had barring. He has dark red on his wing so my guess is he was also out of a parent that had mahogany- which makes gold darker like on a RIR.
My guess is one parent was either a RIR, sexlink or a cross out of one. If there was only one bird with a rosecomb, it without the question was a parent. If there was one bird with barring, it without question was a parent.
If you don't want or need a black breast on him, I would say try breeding him with RIR or if you don't have RIR, then over the sex links.. as they are a RIR cross anyways however they also have Domiant White which you probably won't want in the babies. Barring tends to show up better on more pigmented feathers, RIR and red sex links have mahogany in them which adds more pigmentation to the feathers.. it is possible to get crisper barring but it is a challenge.
However if a "true Crele" with black breast is desired then need to breed with a Light Brown or Wheatens.
