You got these at Mt Healthy, right? If that is a pullet, you should get huge eggs.I believe thanks to the help from some wise people on this website, that what I have is a Dixie Rainbow. It is the only thing that makes sense. It was a free rare exotic chick from the hatchery. After many weeks of asking and posting pictures, the Dixie is the only breed that makes sense for the HUGE size of this chick. I am going to attach some
photos for you. Hopefully I am not wrong about the breed but I do have plenty of pics. The chick is 8 weeks old. I thought it was a roo for so long because it was so big and tall but now I believe that is a pullet due to comb color and development. I can tell you this is the sweetest, calmest, and clumsiest chicken I have ever seen. One of my favorites. The little white brahma in most of the pics is a few weeks younger and has adopted "baby huey" as a best friend. Rarely leaves the Dixie's side. These may be meat birds but I can tell you I wont be eating this one.
