Here are some updated pictures of my three chicks. I have one Barred Rock named Joon, and two EE named Sula and Munk. Sula has white on her wings, and Munk is orange/black. I am pretty sure all three are girls, and this was a nice day so they got to spend it outside

One of the EE's sure has bright green legs! Interesting.

Did they eat the snail that was in one of the pictures?

Is bright green legs a sign of something? LoL now I am worried!

About the snail, they didn't eat it, but sure did torture it! Anytime it moved or caught their eye they would run over and peck it until it went into the shell, then they would mosey away. I guess they don't know how to crack the shell yet, lol, but they were trying

I sure hope she is a girl! I figured she was, but if anybody sees any rooster signs on the Barred Rock PLEASE let me know

I didn't mean to alarm you. I just had not seen bright green legs before. Usually they are a lot darker green. I really doubt there is anything wrong.

LoL no worries

I wasn't sure if that was a sign of a roo or not. I am new to chickens, but especially new to EE's. I've had BR before, but they are pretty easy to sex. I heard EE are pretty hard to tell until much later. All I 100% care is Joon is a girl, and Munk is a girl. If Sula ends up being a Sam, it wouldn't totally surprise me. But I do hope for a BR and one EE hen at least.

Happy Chicking!
