Sorry, I am going to have to disagree with this one.
It's not automatic, no level control other than manual setting of the water valve. Big old tub, looks like fun but impossible to keep clean. It continuosly overflows into the run, mud and moisture equal filth and virmin.
Overflow to garden? The tube is only a few inches deep and sitting on the ground. This will only allow for a few inches of fall, what if it's up hill to the garden? What if it's on the same level? The hose ( overflow) will fail to carry enough water off and it will continue to run over in the run.
This waterer is not automatic, waste water, makes a mess and is unsanitary. Wonderful novelty, not practicle.
10 dollar cost, a truly auto waterer can be built with a surplus bucket and a 9.99 float valve.
