so my husband found 2 baby chicks with no mama on dec 10. i wish i knew how old they were then.

obviously fast forward to today almost 4 weeks exactly they’re getting huge lol. i wish i knew what they were exactly, someone said they might be welsummer but i also wish i knew if they were girls or boys.

but here are my two babies before and today!

Yeah, that one on the arm/hand looks an awful lot like a cockerel to me too. The other looks pullet like.

of course i’ll update. i just wish i knew exactly how old they were.

another thing i wanted to ask, they’re starting to get a bit big for the container i have them in. i have a small nice sized coop for them outside that i usually let them go during the days in there but not at night or over night. do you think i can let them stay outside yet or what? i live in miami and although it’s summer all throughout the year, it’s actually in the cooler temps now i just don’t want them to freeze outside.

when I do put the chickens in the coop it’s a two-story coupe I will include a picture and usually I put the food and water inside but it doesn’t seem like they know where the food and water is because when I do bring them back inside at night time they’re like dying of thirst I am sitting at their water bowl and drinking for five minutes. so how do i go about this? do i need to just put the water and food on the floor ?

yes, my husband found them in the street when they were really little a month ago so we decided to take them in
