Upload Photo

I just used the "upload" to put a phoyo on the site but..................... where did it go??? said the upload was succesful!

on the upload page scroll down to the bottom it will say "my uploads" its in there

When you click the Upload link at the top of the page, it opens in a new tab or a new window. Browse to select the photo, click upload, and wait. Once it is upload, scroll down to the bottom of the upload page to the link that says "My Uploads" in blue. Click on that and your picture will be there. Copy and paste the link to the photo to the thread you want on BYC and click submit. Ta-da! Picture inserted.

Ok, to post it on the site, there are 2 options. You can post a thumbnail, which is a small picture that can be clicked on and enlarged, or a full-sized photo. Most folks do the 2nd option. The link for each option is under the pictures. Right click on the link, copy, and then paste onto BYC. Remember that uploads come up in a different window or tab. Try posting one here.

I changed my avitar last night, and it was on there for several posts. Today, my old avitar is back and all my pictures I added to my uploads are gone. What's the deal with that? Is it because I'm on a different computer?

It's working now. Someone on another thread told me to reload the page. That worked, but I can't understand why the old avatar came on at all when this computer was completely shut down before I logged in. Oh well, working now.
