Upset Hens??

I just got two new hens, and they feeI reaIIy safe and Iove my rooster PhiIIip. I have to get rid of him though, wiII this impact egg production or make them scared?

Disruptions in the flock like adding or removing chickens can upset their egg laying, yes. I don't know if they'll be scared, but I'm sure they'll miss him.
