Hello,
I have a light Sussex hen, who does seem to be very well.
She looks fine but...
She has runny poo and there's some poo stuck to her feathers.

What shall I do??

If she is acting fine, then the cause of the runny droppings may just be that it is extra hot out, she ate a lot of wet foods (such as berries), or she drank a lot of water. If you want you could rinse her back-end off.

Keep an eye on her behavior and look for an odd coloration in her droppings, such as blood, worms, or green coloring.

Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Thank you Gitabocks
We have just got another hen who is not doing great.
She is a pure white bantam
She has been sleeping a lot! Pretty much mostly all day
She won't eat and she won't drink.
She looks like she is doing a poo but there's been no poo from her

What will I need to do for her?

If it isn't worms (weak, pale face, losing weight), it sounds pretty serious. Get some electrolytes, vitamins and liquid into her to keep up her strength. Keep her warm and comfortable and watch out for any signs of viral or bacterial infections, such as respiratory problems.

I hope she gets better soon!

She didn't get better at lunch time she died, it was so bad :(
This morning i dropped water on her beak and she drank the drips and take little bit off water but when she stopped she would not even take a nibble of any food I'm guessing she only would take liquids
I can't believe she's gone

I'm so sorry to hear that.

We have only just lost another one from the same batch were not sure if its from when they were little or something

You mentioned having a sick bantam. If it is straining, it may be egg-bound.
What are its symptoms?
