Hi from Clinton area, NY
Welcome to the chicken math...Vernon here..enjoy!
So, from what I understand:
I have 35 chickens. 3 are roosters going to freezer camp. So they don't count.
Trio of ameraucanas (from tgrlilly), but not quite laying eggs yet. So they don't count.
Trio of EE's that are juvies and not laying eggs yet. So they don't count.
25 assorted young pullets. Not laying eggs yet. So they don't count.
1 old english game hen that lays eggs - she counts.
So I have one chicken. Boy do I go through a lot of feed for one chicken!
May have met you at Oneida County Cooperative Extention poultry program a few months ago if you were there. Met Sue there for sure.
