If he wants to process for a fee I would bring all my roosters for him to process...

Then I could get them all done and whould never have to learn how!!

What do you think?

I was considering suggesting a processing demo. Did I mention it previously or are you all reading my mind?

We did it two years ago and it was a huge success. People who never thought they could process did a heck of a job. I'm no expert, just a backyard hack, but they come out ok.

It can be a dirty job too so whoever wants to get their hands dirty should bring a set of junk clothes.

We would need:
A hatchet - CHECK
Cone - Won one at CS PA
Stump
Table
Running water
Garbage bags
Gloves - I'll bring a box
Knives
Turkey fryer/scalder - I think mine still works
Plucker - For 6 or less birds manual plucking is fine
Containers to soak birds in and transport home
Photographer
Bartender
DJ

I don't charge for processing. We just have a processing party and everyone pitches in. Some people can't swing the hatchet but can pluck or gut. It's all good...
