Maggie, do you think we don't know how to see through the dirt? We've all seen muddy birds, and know they look beautiful after a bath and blow-dry. Bring 'em!

PS - Thanks for taking that little brahma - I feel so much better she will have a place where she might have some friends. Here, she is surrounded by giants who either peck her or ignore her. It's very sad.

Earplugs added to list.....

You can always stay home with the kids!!

Like I said before, I am happy to take her...I will put her in a pen with some of our pets (2 hatchery black silkies [one has crippled feet

], 1 black tail Japanese, and a small LF salmon fav...these are my girls who get picked on by the rest). And if Lovins shares her pickled egg recipe with me, I'm going to put their little eggs to work!

All the coops stay open during the day so they have ALOT of places to stay dry-they just dont-ding dongs... The silkies are now in an indoor pen so they are good:) They just have alot of new feathering to do because I free ranged them all Spring and Summer-ruined alot of feathers:-(

My dork butts have 3 coops THREE that they have access to. They are standing under a lilac bush in a puddle... Idiot Chickens...

The only smart chickens I have today are 2 WC black and a GL Polish that came out to eat and then went back in their coop. All the rest look like drowned rats! I think we may scoop everyone up and put them in their coops when Jeremy gets home. I feel so bad that they are wet, even though it is their own fault.
