Yeah like planting my garlic! It's never going to dry out in time!
Can you tell me about planting garlic? I have always wanted to try it. Thanks
Sure! Nothing to it..that is if the rain stops! Go to your local friendly farmers market or stand and buy a couple of heads,(or more depending on how much you want to put in)so you know they are fresh. Carefully pull the bulbs apart and plant the cloves roots down 10ish inches apart. Cover them and watch them come up in the spring. You're going to want to get it in the ground in the next week or so. Each clove you plant will be one head. They will grow long flower looking things(scapes) around June. Cut them off so the plant works on the bulb instead of the seeds. The scapes are great to use too! Pull them up when the bottom half of the leaves die off. Braid and hang them up to dry.
