UPSTATE NY chickenstock OCT 3rd Sunday!! -The aftermath and hatching

We have lived here 5 years, landlord lives in FL and has finally decided he is never moving back and doesn't want to kick us out or just give the house to family (like the expect him to). There is no way this house would ever qualify for a loan, so he is going to finance for us, he just wants to know what it is worth. The house is worth pretty much nothing, but the property is. We plan on paying it off as soon as possible and building a log home.

totally totally awesome--maybe not clean the house and such to keep appraisal down?

that way you dont get charged as much after all you guys live there and know how much work it will take??? Either way hes doing you guys a favor by doing a self finance-hubby is a real estate guy on top of contracting I hear about stuff like this all the time!
 
I am cleaning house today too and attempting to paint our giant living room. It's gonna take at least three coats so I am doing one wall at a time. Primer today! (It's over dark dark fake wood 70's paneling). The inlaws are coming this weekend! I don't suppose anyone here's a professional painter?

One of those walls is gonna be reallly tricky!

Rehomed six silkies today to a nice lady from hudson falls. Hopefully she will come to chickenstock too. Now maybe I can grow out my little ones and put them all together when they reach the same size!

(and now I might have room for ONE more hatch if I get any eggs at chickenstock!).

Uck - I hate that drive to the doctor's when I have a sinus infection - hoping I don't drive off the road because I'm so tired from not sleeping, or because I have to catch the tissue that just fell off my lap because my nose is dripping on my shirt.

I used to get SIs all the time until I got a Neti Pot - google it. You guys need to get one - it stopped the infections so now I get MAYBE one a year, if not less often. I use it every time I've cleaned to coop or the garage, or been somewhere else dusty, or even if I'm just a little clogged. I even got my mom to use it. Once there's an infection up there, it won't get rid of it, but it takes away a LOT of the pressure so you can at least sleep.

Oh, we aren't cleaning to make it look better, we are just trying to get some of our crap put away. The kids rooms can stay they way they are, but all the floors need vacuumed and clothes need put away. Believe me, I am not going to any special trouble to make this place look good. It would take too much for that anyway.
 
doctors results are in bronchitis-ear infec on right side and sinus infection-already got my two Zpac pills in me:) Lucky me huh??
