UPSTATE NY chickenstock OCT 3rd Sunday!! -The aftermath and hatching

I am hoping he turns into a she.LOL But the way he fluffs up and attacks my hand when I go to pick him up makes me think not.

But then he being so small..... the crow might not be overly loud.

Where I am hoping to move in 4-6 weeks the property is large and treed...I might be able to keep him under wraps and then have a pair. Time will tell!

He is just so tiny compared to a 7 week old little girl I hatched out here. Hopefully he will get bigger fast so I can place them together soon. As it is he still wants heat so is in the house alone for now till he feathers out completely.

My porcelain d'uccle roo barely ever crowed and when he did it was raspy and quiet.

Wish me luck then! I had 3 MF dUccles roos and mine kinda screeched

DH has been retro-ing the greenhouse for these babies!

It's huge and has electric so I think they will be OK in there. It's all Andersen window someone threw out and he claimed! Nice and airtight so I hope it works. I'll put up pix when he's done next weekend or so!

Sounds like you created a sex link so it depends which the father is. The barring gene is past to the opposite sex so if he was a barred then his daughters would be and visa versa.
