Urban chicken project!

[/IMG]Well I have decided to embark on the journey of chicken farming! We have decided to raise silkies and we are super excited to watch our chicks grow! I have 4 children and know they are as excited as I am. Anyways I built the coop my self let me know what you think.

Very nice! As long as they have enough room to roost, hang out and lay, are protected from the night time predators, then you have done well!

This is from the front. Should be plenty of room coop is 48 tall 44 wide 36 deep. 5 chickens. Thanks

Welcome to BYC. A very nice job on the coop. Understand that several types of predator can readily shred that chicken wire. You may want to consider covering/replacing it with hardware cloth.
