URGENT; 3 Ducks w Respiratory Infection

I've misted my flock but only because someone who had birds came over. I use Oxine for cleaning too I don't use the activator for treating or cleaning though 6an half oz. to 1 gal of water I use a spray bottle on light mist and aim over their heads so it gently falls over their faces.

I would not have them outside right now while treating them you want constant temps above 70* and out of drafts.. Clean bedding too because Aspergillosis is serious and can be caused by ammonia build up in brooders and coops. @superduckrescue will have to explain how she used it in the cool mist humidifier. I buy Oxine ah on Amazon.

You may have to take the worst to the vet and get appropriate antibiotics also. I'd hate for you to lose those precious ducklings.

I diluted the oxine and then put the diluted oxine in the humidifier then turned it on with a duck in a small closed tub with air. I would mist all of your flock these infections are very very contagious. I did about 15 minutes each. But it depends on how bad the infection is.

Thank you everyone for your advice and all of your help!

We are going out tomorrow to get a bigger coop for them. What is the best way to start keeping it more clean? Before they hatched, I read it was safer to use a towel for their bedding in their coop. Wood shavings & hay straw weren’t recommended.

I have Oxine coming on Wednesday for them too, which will finally start their healing process. If they don’t get better within a week of beginning Oxine, is there any other recommendations?

They have a gallon plastic poultry fount complete waterer, but it doesn’t seem deep enough for them to merge their beak in. Any recommendations for a Bigger & deeper duck waterer?

Any recommendations for vitamins & electrolytes?
