Urgent advice needed hatching chick

Hi all, I have a silkie chick that pipped 20hrs ago. It has been making very slow progress, fully expected to see a chick wandering about this morning but it is still very much in the shell, although has made progress overnight zipping. A hatchmate has pipped, zipped and hatched all within a few hours. The chick is breathing, i can see some movement through the gap it has created zipping and I can hear it chirping. Should I be concerned and be intervening to help it out? Trying to attach a photo but first time posting and not sure how sorry! Edit - photo below.
It is day 21 crossing over into day 22. Been in lockdown since day 18. Temps have been stable throughout. Humidity had dropped to 40% overnight when I checked them first thing this morning but is sitting back up around 60 now. Another egg has pipped and is currently zipping so I really don't want to open incubator if I can help it out don't want to leave it too long and this chick die when it's so close to hatching

You have waited for a while and the chick hasn't emerged. I can't quite tell, but it looks like it may be dry. I would suggest assisting it. The chick may brcome tired and give up, if it hasn't already. With it having been zipped so long, I would assume that the veins around that area are absorbed, but still be very careful.

My suggestion.
Maintain a good humidity level, to prevent shrink wrap. As long as chick is breathing, it is alive. It may be still trying to absorb the yolk sac.
Consider the fact that hatched chicks survive a few days after hatch without food or water.
Not all hatching chicks conform to equal form compared to their incu-mates.

Thank you, I have another egg which I can just see it's beak poking out, how do I successfully get the egg put that I need to assist without doing damage to the other one? Sorry I'm inexperienced, this is only my 2nd ever hatch so really appreciate any help.

Thank you, that's really helpful. It is very much still breathing and moving and chirping just don't want to leave it until it's too late. It's little toes keep poking out in the same place.

You can take away some of the loose pieces of shell to view if there is shrink wrap occurring.
If the membrane does look like it is dry,, maybe spray some warm water to moisten.

I think I've messed up. I led it in a warm moist flannel and sat in the bathroom with hot shower running to keep humidity up. I gently peeled away at some of the hard shell, there was a crusty dry gluey clump of something which I gently removed as it was stuck to the chick and the shell and as chick was wriggling it was preventing it from moving. It looked moist under any of the fresh shell I removed and wasnt stuck so i stopped, there wasn't blood but was bits of gunky fluid. I got scared I was doing more harm than good and just put it back in the incubator. Chicks alive and beak is poking out as you can see in the pic but I worry I've seriously messed up and should have just left nature alone
