I have 6 silkie chicks that hatched out on wed july 23. They were all fine when I put them in the brooder on Friday morning. This evening all of a sudden one is very lethargic and has been sleeping and barely moving. I picked it up and put its beak in the water which it drank. When touched it wakes up and gets up but then quickly its head falls and it lays right back down. When I pick it up it peeps and stops when I put it down. I notice that I am hearing a clicking noise when it peeps none of the others do that. it had pasty butt yesterday and today of which I cleaned up the water in the brooder has electrolytes in it and I am feeding medicated chick starter. Any advice on what I can do for this chick or is it too late. Any advice at all is welcome and appreciated!
