What I sometimes do when combining smaller groups in confinement like you are doing is change the appearance of the coop so the resident birds do not recognize it as their own. It will make so they are not defending their home turf. There may still be scraping but not as bad.
still random pecks but not enough to cause harm. Think they will be ok.
