Metronidazole tablets arnt very soluble in water. It's better to mix acidified copper sulfate in water and give it to your birds on a monthly basis to keep the protozoa in check because birds with canker are carriers for life and it will spread to other birds via waterers.Hello! Yes, I used Metranidazole tablets... I crushed 2 tablets per gallon of water. Hope that helps
