Urgent Care Help!

Hi Momma bug, sorry for the difficulties with this one with the yolk still out. My understanding is that the yolk is absorbed into the abdomen, it doesn't dry out. So maybe the moist cover to mimics the moisture level inside the whole egg is correct. I'm not very experienced with eggs, only hatched a few myself. GL
 
OK despite my best efforts to immobilize her, she managed to burst the yolk. It looks like it might be drying out, I dont know what else to do. but if the yolk has already ruptured there shouldnt be any reason to keep it moist anymore. What I am most concerned for now is the fact that due to her being highly active through this whole thing despite her being on her side, the antibiotic ointment that I put on the yolk to keep it from drying out, was rubbed all over the place by her feet and then she managed to rub it into her eyes and mouth. I dont know if this will kill her or not. I will keep you posted.
