Urgent: Chick just ate a large piece of blue plastic

I just checked on my chicks to see a chick eating a 3 or 4" piece of blue plastic from the edge of a puppy pad. I jumped and tried to grab her but she ran around eating it as she ran. By the time I grabbed her, she had ingested the entire piece - which was 1 or 2" wide.
They have grit and I had provided sod, but had never seen them touch the plastic!!
Is there anything I can do?????

So, to make matters worse, I have 3 black chicks I can only tell apart by their legs. In the excitement, I didn't notice which chick it was. Going to give pieces of bread dipped in olive oil and grit.

They seem okay right now but what happens if she goes into distress? What should I expect? Is there nothing I can do?

Not sure there is anything you can do, except what you already did with the oiled bread and grit....and remove the pads.
Hope everything comes out alright.
