URGENT!!! Duck not walking!!

i think the ES soak is a great idea as @Miss Lydia suggested

but i also saw that you said you are a 1st time duck momma, out of curiosity what are you feeding?

i have been using an ES soak like you all suggested. Her leg seems to be getting better. the only thing i have a problem with is, she keeps jumping out of her pen and re hurting and messing up the progress we have created. I plan on highering the sides to make it tall enough to where she cant jump out, silly duck.
i feed all of my ducks the Dumor poultry grower/finisher 15%. in the last couple of days my other females started laying eggs! i have to go to the store today and get more bedding and feed, where i plan to buy the dumor poultry layer 16% grower crumble. the one egg was squishy and rubber like. what can i do to prevent this in the future?

Well she is messy up all the progress.

I'd pick up some Oyster shell and put it outside close but not in with their feed. The girls that need it will use it.

Get those sides raised so this girl can heal up mom!!

@lindsbradway

Also 15-16% protein isn't quite high enough for a duck, you should look into an all flock type feed at 18%

Then have oyster shell available separately free choice

i am slowly transferring them to a higher % of flock feed. after this feed bag is empty i will purchase a 18-20% feed for them. i put a dish of oyster shells in their pen and the male ducks seemed to eat more of them than the girls. they did eat some but ill just keep re filling it so that it is available. Puddles my injured duck seems to be getting around a lot more easily. she still manages to get out, so ive just left her out with food and water, shes such an attention hog

in addition to oyster shells, do they have access to grit? or outside where they can get dirt/pebbles/sand

i wonder iff he is eating it for that reason

ALSO, make sure you are giving added niacin, niacin is essential for ducks it prevents leg issues
it is available as brewers yeast and is inexpensive, peas are also a great treat that contain some niacin

Yes they have access to grit, I buy grit and I also let them outside to roam the grass of my back yard. I have them some brewers yeast and they seem to be doing better. I give them they're green vegetables once a week as a treat and I know add peas to the mix.
Also Puddles, the ducks who injured her leg, is 2 weeks older than my other ducks but they started laying eggs weeks before her. Last night she layed her first egg! Yay! So happy
